After my 50th birthday, I had an image of a void in my center with a veil of illusion attempting to cover what I feared. The void was rich and deep. The veil inadequate. Facing my shadow and looking at the darker side makes me less fearful. Outside is the crazy quilt technique representing the chaos of the world contrasting with the clear focus of my blue center.
